Hello to all my friends out there. I'm just getting back into the spirit of writing which is brought on by the arrival of Spring and the disappearance of Winter. Since we haven't spoken in a while, I want to bring you up to speed on what I've been working on in the Winter months:

A long time ago when I was still living in South Dakota a friend of mine made the comment "Don't let the lobsters get your down". I had no idea what that meant so he explained that life is like a bucket of lobsters and when 1 lobster starts crawling to the top, another lobster always latches on with those pinchers and tries to drag his buddy back down in the bucket. Misery loves company, but don't worry....it has plenty already. They don't need you too. Keep your chin up and your mind open. Every day is an opportunity just waiting for you. In just the last few weeks I've had an abundance of great things come my way and now I'm gonna share them with you:

To those of you that follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you know I spend a great deal of my free time underneath the hood of my truck fixing various things that are falling apart on it. I blew up my Expedition on the way to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally last summer and ended up taking a red-eye flight and staying awake for 48 straight hours to get another vehicle to pull the trailer the rest of the way to South Dakota and perform for a week. After many years of sitting on an amazing video treatment for our song Fade, we finally got the opportunity to move forward with the creation of the music video thanks to the help of some fabulous volunteers and Table 8 Creative who agreed to shoot the video free of charge. So many people came forward after they heard what the video was about and volunteered their services, their expertise, their locations, their props, and their ideas to make sure this project came to life. We have some amazing footage that is going to blow your minds and we are doing our best to put this in perspective and our objective is to bring attention to the men and women who serve in the US Military and risk their lives for us. We want to remember them and honor them and thank them for what they have done for us. Because of their services, we are able to express ourselves with song and videos and that is why we live and breathe. We will keep you posted on the release date and when it's expected to become available to the world. I hope it means as much to you as it does to me.
